Thought of the day !
When a religion wants to extend its influence, it has to refrain from the vilification of other religions and exaggeration of its own excellence. Pomp and publicity become more important than practice and faith. But SAI want the devotee of each religion to cultivate faith in its own brilliance and realize their validity by their own intense practice. That is the SAI religion, the religion that fosters all religions and emphasizes their common greatness. Take up this religion, boldly and joyfully.

Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948)
Hindu Dharma is like a boundless ocean teeming with priceless gems. The deeper you dive, the more treasures you find.
You must not loose faith in humanity.Humanity is and ocean;if a few drops of the ocean are dirty the ocean does not become dirty.
To give service to a single heart by a single act is better then a thousand heads bowing in prayer.
There is nothing that waste the body like worry, and one who has any faith in God should be ashamed to worry about anything whatsoever.
Martin Luther KING
I want to be the white man's brother, not his brother-in-law.
History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people
I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.

The season to remember that Hindus honour all religions --- but don’t practise all religions !
Dr. Rogers is quoted:
Though Dr. Rogers said it in 1984, his words are so relevant to what we are facing in America today. In fact, it was even read and posted in the Congressional Record by Congressman Steve King from the state of Iowa on January 14, 2009.
“Friend, you cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. And what one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government can’t give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody. And when half of the people get the idea they don’t have to work because the other half’s going to take care of them, and when the other half get the idea it does no good to work because somebody’s going to get what I work for. That, dear friend, is about the end of any nation.”
