Tantra -- Yogiraj Mani Finger.

My mentor in the seventies.

Kavi Yogiraj Mani Finger was born Jewish. The only Tantra Guru in South Africa during his era. Mani had a fortuitous birth his destiny intersected with Mahatma Gandhi in South Africa

Gandhiji visited the Fingers Farm whilst in South Africa. He prophecised Mani would become a philosopher. Gandhi's prophecy crystallise 1943 in British hospital, studying medicine ,colleague introduced him to Yoga

Beginning of a distinguished career in esoteric sciences and philosophy.  

In 1949 Mani heard Paramhamsa Yogananda discourse in Los- Angeles went on to live with Him at the foot hills of the Himalayas. Mani  met Swami Sivananda of Rishikesh later became Mani's mentor and initiated Him as Kavi Bharti.

He expounded on the science of Kabbalah. Judaism's reflection on mysticism the tree of life.

Mani introduced me into rare breathing technique's and mantra. He moved to United States to the latter part of His life, took samadi in his nineties in Bocca Rotan Florida.

March 1992 Mani attended Satsang Parkview Ashram South Africa - Swami Chidanand Sarasvati of  Rishikesh.

Mani had a vibrant voice and blue-ribbon sense of humour.

Greetings and blessings. It was lovely to hear from you and that you are so interested in Neti Neti. Here is a verse that explains it.

In order to arrive at having pleasure in anything desire to have pleasure in nothing. In order to possess everything desire to possess nothing. In order to arrive at knowing everything desire to know nothing.

For when the mind dwells upon anything, thou has to deny thyself wholly in all.
