Bhagawan's prophecy for His present earthly sojourn was 96. However, chose to relinquish His physical form much earlier, according to divine timing and purpose known only to Him.
His departure was painful for me personally. A great sage once told me, Sai had consciously offered His body as a sacrifice, surrendering His physical form prematurely for the greater welfare of humanity.
It is said He absorbed upon Himself immense karmic consequences of the planet, bearing what humanity itself had sown, so a new era might be ushered forth. Had the moral decline of mankind continued unchecked, the consequences could have been catastrophic.
Sathya Sai was never the body we beheld.
The body was but a garment; the Divine Presence was eternal. His love touched countless lives and transformed. His message remain the living testimony the Supreme Soul cannot be confined to flesh, time, or form.
His departure was not an ending, but a sacred transition from presence before our eyes to within our hearts.
May humanity walk the path of Sai Dharma with courage and unwavering faith, carrying His light forward into a new dawn.
Sai is not gone
Sai is the Love that remains.
Sai is the Light that continues to guide.
