Another important point which everyone is aware of but fails to appreciate is that Avatars subject themselves to the ultimate limitation of a human body, namely, they to shed their mortal coil like everyone else. In fact, that is the ultimate lesson in being and behaving like a Human. They are born like an ordinary human; they also depart like ordinary humans.

The Avatars not only voluntarily forego the exercise of the divine powers available to them (except when absolutely necessary).Because Avatars live like normal humans do, their Divinity is not often perceived, except by a blessed few. In the case of a few others, it is perceived at times and remains clouded at other times.
Avatars shroud themselves with the veil of MAYA which makes it difficult for followers to clearly perceive their Divinity. Most never do, some do occasionally and a blessed few, hardly a handful, are always conscious of the fact that the one who looks and acts like an ordinary human being is none other than the Supreme Lord Himself.
