The MIRACLE ROBE

Thought of the day !

The Miracle Robe.

Article related to Sathya SAI Teleportation on this blog June of 2009.

Bhagwan's marvel amidst thousands over the past eight decades.

Whats in a Miracle one may ask?

How many citizens of our planet, perform miracles beyond the rationale of our present Sciences, the question ?

Endeavour to materialise Vibuti or perhaps a doughnut in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth, South Africa simultaneously. Let the world be a testimony to your creativity, transcending the precincts of space and time.

No recorded history for the past three thousand years and perhaps more, has any individual on our planet, displayed such extraordinary capability.

The STORY :

Shan former President of Extension 4 SAI Center in Lenasia South, South Africa, journeyed to Prashanti in 2009 with His friends Chanchal and Mumsie.

Universal practice amongst SAI devotees, when in their residence in Parti, to make shrines in their rooms. On this occasion Shan took a chair, covered it with an old SARI, He claimed looked new, so Bhagwan could seat Himself. I found those comments startling.

One morning preparing for darshan, Shan exclaims loudly in the presence of His colleagues. SWAMI you have not given us a Robe for our Mandir, when I come back from darshan, you must be seated on the chair.

He also demanded a ROBE with buttons, as most Robes Bhagwan gifted, are without buttons to my surprise.

I was amused at the above statement, it's the same the AVATAR giving His devotees bread without butter, then again He is the Lord of the Universe. He knows what's good for you

Shan's colleagues Chanchal and Mumsie had a hearty laugh to His extravagant declaration, left the room for darshan so did Shan.

Returning from darshan, Chanchal was the first to step in the room, was awe-struck by what she witness, a cloud formation or smoke in the room,  she explained to me telephonically.

She steps back ask her colleague Mumsie to peep in the room. She was overwhelmed by Vibuti fragrance and stepped back in wonder at the mysterious event.

They eventually step in and scream in excitement, Robe on the chair, the bottom of the Robe moving, as if somebody is swaying his feet.

Shan on his arrival witnessing the miracle overcome with emotion, shedded  tears of joy for his loving Guru-Deva.

Is this awesome or what ?

Bhagwan Universal consciousness that Rishis, Munis and Sages have been discoursing from the dawn of Creation. He traverses the planet once in four to five thousand years.

SAI-Lent Revolution - Sai's Letter to Brother

Thought of the day !

Bhagwan BABA.

On-Line INFORMATION.

I have read a few Sai Books witness some Sai Miracles. A letter pen by Bhagwan to His Brother, captivated my interest for many years.

A compelling read.

On 25 May 1947, at the age of 20, in response to a letter from his brother who was concerned with what he was doing, Sri Sathya Sai Baba wrote the following letter. This letter disclosed his mission. Dr. Gokak’s essay, An Historic Letter of Baba (in Golden Age, Kingdom of Sathya Sai, Brindavan, India, 1979, pp. 1-9), gives particulars surrounding this letter, and this letter was typed from that essay.

My dear One! I received the communication that you wrote and sent; I found in it the surging floods of your devotion and affection, with the undercurrents of doubts and anxiety. Let me tell you that it is impossible to plumb the hearts and discover the natures of jnaanis, yogis, ascetics, saints, sages, and the like. People are endowed with a variety of characteristics and mental attitudes, so each one judges according to his own angle, talks and argue in the light of his own nature.

But we have to stick to our own right path, our own wisdom, our own resolution without getting affected by popular appraisal. As the proverb says, it is only the fruit-laden tree that receives the shower of stones from passers-by. The good always provoke the bad into calumny; the bad always provoke the good into derision. That is the nature of this world. One must be surprised if such things do not happen.

The people have to be pitied, rather than condemned. They do not know. They have no patience to judge a right. They are too full of lust, anger, and conceit to see clearly and know fully. So, they write all manner of things. If they only knew, they would not talk or write like that.

We, too, should not attach any value to such comments and take them to heart, as you seem to do. Truth will certainly triumph someday. Untruth can never win. Untruth might appear to overpower Truth, but its victory will fade away and Truth will establish itself.

It is not the way of the great to swell when people offer worship and to shrink when people scoff. As a matter of fact, no sacred text lays down rules to regulate the lives of the great, prescribing habits and attitudes that they must adopt. They themselves know the path they must tread; their wisdom regulates and makes their acts holy. Self-reliance, beneficial activity --these two are their special marks.

They may also be engaged in the promotion of the welfare of devotees and in allotting them the fruits of their actions. Why should you be affected by tangle and worry, as long as I am adhering to these two? After all, praise and blame of the populace do not touch the Atma.

The TOUCHING LIVES CAMPAIGN of Bhagwan BABA commenced November 23 1926 from Puttarpati to PRETORIA.

Bhagwan I wish YOU a very  Happy 85 Birthday may you have many more !
I wish you LUV and Light !

Loving GOD

Thought of the day !

The Miracle Lingam

My third visit to Prashanti 2008
Travel with three devotees, was surprise people I journeyed with, make shrines in their rooms. I've always seen myself as a shrine :-)

Found that humorous, Sai devotees are unique in flaunting affection for their Guru.

Guru never fails you, if HE does, devotees remind you, Karma that's surreal :-)

Bhagwan materialises His hallmark prasad in our room. Vibuti complimented with and opal Lingam in the shrine made by devotee.

Admiring the stunning Lingam, two long years, and inexplicable event, by the laws of nature, to be supernatural in origin or an act of G+d. I write about this marvel gifted to the four sharing the room.

Miracle for me returning home, in the plane seated next to the window, staring at the beautiful Indian moon, suddenly Bhagwan creates the Illusion. Lingam materialised in the room, clearly visible in the moon. My colleagues are a testimony to the marvel and few people in the plane.

Lingam has healing properties channels extraordinary energy.
Desire for illumination will give birth to the True miracle, darshan of Atma-Lingam

Manik PRABHU

Thought of the day !

Shri Manik Prabhu Maharaj(1817-1865)
Contemporary of Maharaja Akkalkot of Solapur Maharashtra
Article courtesy of Manik Prabhu Samsthan, Maniknagar Andra Pradesh.

South Africans contemplating a visit to Maniknagar and Solapur please write to me, appropriate arrangements would be made for your accommodation

The great mystic saint and yogi Shri Manik Prabhu Maharaj (1817-1865) is hailed as the fourth incarnation of Lord Dattatreya and has an enormous following in the country. Shri Saibaba of Shirdi, Shri Akkalkot Swami Maharaj and Shri Gondavalekar Maharaj were Shri Prabhu’s contemporaries and they interacted with him on matters of deep spiritual wisdom. Shri Prabhu was also associated with the first war of Indian independence in 1857.

All biographers refer to Shri Prabhu as a saint of great spirituality and mysticism. He is hailed as ‘Bhaktakarya Kalpadruma’. Stories of his miracles and eye witness accounts, which bear testimony to the manner in which he brought succour to the distressed and the sorrowing, to the afflicted and the wronged, who, ardently and with deep faith sought his spiritual intervention are available.

Shri Prabhu’s teaching, basically, lay stress on the path of Bhakti. Alongside, he moralizes in the most remarkable manner on the ‘Vedantic Truths’ concerning the ‘Spiritual Unity’ of beings. Shri Prabhu uses his theological platform beautifully, to unfold, interpret and even reason out the concept of ‘ Ultimate Reality’. His innumerable poetic compositions are replete with expressions of ardent devotion to the different manifestations of Parabrahma.

In the final analysis, he enjoins a meaningful connection between man and man, in a spirit of fellowship and brotherhood, disregarding affiliations of religions, caster of creeds. Such a philosophy invited messianic reverence for Shri Prabhu from all communities and earned him the appellation ‘Sakalamatacharya’. Sakalmata Sampradaya is not a cult or a sect. It is a holistic and an all embracing school of philosophy, which basically rests on the concept of a Supreme Soul that pervades the Universe and in that context, perceives a spiritual unity in the entire human race.

This school of thought holds an umbrella of equality over all diversities of religions, faiths, and persuasions. Such a philosophy was readily acceptable to people of all religions, castes or creeds, and to rich and poor, as it held the promise of harmony among all people, transcending all barriers that produced conflicts.

PUJYA Shri MOTA

Thought of the day !

Hari OM
The Miracle Photograph.

I travel to India in 1992, for a vacation, my preferred leisure to visit pilgrimage surroundings.

This occasion confine to Gujarat. Journeyed for a week made prior arrangements of the destinations I was going to tour.

Visited a few Gurus the Shirdi Sai Mandir in Chauta Bazaar Surat.

On my way to Bombay popped in to Kishorebhai's home Kacholi, 20 km from station Bilimora. Kishore lived his life by noble ethics of Satyagraha. Dedicated his life establishing and teaching at a deaf school to his retirement.

I enjoy Kishorebhai's relationship; we spend our moment's speaking about the history of India and Saint and Sages. During our conversation spoke about numerous Gurus and he listens with much interest.

He remarks you should visit Pujya Shri Mota's ashram. His utterance Shri Mota instantly experienced and incredible aura of peace. Asked him where is His ashram, replied Surat. Incidentally arrived from Surat to his home.

We converse about Mota as the conversation progressed discover Shri Mota had taken Samadi. However, enquired if he had a photograph of MOTA. Kishore had a book in Gujarati but no photograph.

Returning home after a week, sharing stories of the Guru's with my late Mum, mention Mota's name if she heard of Him, nope was the answer.

For the next year constantly repeated Shri MOTA'S name to my Mums laughter. I wonder what He may look like ?  My next trip to India will have darshan of his samadi.

Spring of 1993 a Saturday afternoon, Mum visit her friend Hansaben and Navin down the road from where we lived. I decided to clean my bookcase, recollect taking out 79 books many photographs either to throw away or for distribution.

One photograph in particular, placing with those to be thrown away, decided to have a close view as I don't recollect its presence in our home. The photograph had and inscription of Shri MOTA in Gujarati, was literally frozen how is this possible.

Waited for Mum to arrive from her friend, shared the story with Her, queried if she had seen this photograph. She was astounded, recollect Mum sat on the Lazy-Boy and stared the photograph for a long period.

Next few months we glimpsed the photograph regularly. The question why a towering SAGE became a guest in our modest home remains a mystery ?
How did the photo arrive your guess is as good as mine.

1994 I travel to India to visit a few Gurus and in particular Motas Ashram in Surat. Arrived to a serene and deserted Hari OM Ashram. Walked to the little office stood at the door, noticed a middle aged gentleman perusing the newspaper.

Standing at the door for five minutes hoping my small presence would captivate His attention. However, he picked up His head looked at me, then continued reading the paper for another 5 minutes.

I was getting annoyed but decided to endure His painless hospitality and display my African humility.

Lo !
He finally gets up from His chair asks me what do I want explained to Him came for darshan. He says loudly nobody comes to this ashram, the last time somebody was here it must have been six months ago to my surprise.

You only come to this Ashram by Mota's grace, His omnipresent. Eventually asks me where did I come from, He was amazed when stating South Africa.

I share my story with Him being captivated decides to give me a tour of the ashram.

The Seva-Dal gave me prasad Mota's photographs and a book. Mota was great thinker humanitarian advised his devotees not to construct any Murtis of Him after samadi, instead build schools.

Mota demonstrated the separation of the soul from body by His free will and illustrious Tapasaya.
Rang Avaduth Bapji of Nareshwar and Shri Mota were intimate friends.
Hari OM -- Pujya Shri Mota Ki Jai

1998 I came across and on-line article -- Sathya SAI Baba’s Sanathan Sarati of 1976 reports great Sage of Gujarat takes Samadi Shri MOTA.
(this clarify the mystery for me).

Sathya SAI Aphorism

Thought of the day !

Do not exaggerate the significance of miracles

“You elaborate in your lectures the unique powers of Sai, the incidents that are described as 'miracles' in books written on Me by some persons. But I request you not to attach importance to these. Do not exaggerate their significance; the most significant and important power is, let Me tell you, My prema (love). I may turn the sky into earth, or earth into sky; but that is not the sign of Divine might. It is the prema, the sahana (fortitude) that are my unique signs. When you attempt to cultivate and propagate this love and this fortitude, trouble and travail will clog your steps. You must welcome them, for without them, the best in you cannot be drawn out."

From Bhagawan’s Discourse on the occasion of
World Conference of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations,
in Mumbai, on 17th May, 1968.
Reference: "Sathya Sai Speaks", Vol.- VIII, Chapter-19. Page: 98

Always be mindful of My true nature…

“People may be very near (physically) to the Avatar, but they live out their lives unaware of their fortune; they exaggerate the role of miracles, which are as trivial, when compared to My glory and majesty, as a mosquito is in size and strength to the elephant upon which it squats. Therefore, when you speak about these miracles, I laugh within myself out of pity that you allow yourself so easily to lose the precious awareness of my reality..."

Vedanta, as an artistic composition of literature, transcends subjective theology, offering a universal framework of spiritual philosophy.

It is constructed and constituted by Hindu sages from the first summer of creation. Explore the diverse dimensions of fertile aesthetics. Hinduism

Thought of the day !

A compelling read On-Line Resources.

UNITED STATES, June 2, 2010: Trying to explain the core beliefs of “Hinduism” to an interested observer can be challenging to say the least. It’s often stated that the word “Hinduism” itself is a total misnomer, as it basically refers to the sum total of spiritual and religious thought and practice that has taken place on the Indian subcontinent over the past 5,000 years. And let’s just say it’s been a busy 5,000 years.

The sheer volume of spiritual literature and doctrine, the number of distinct Gods worshiped (over 30 million, according to some sources), the breadth of distinct philosophies and practices that have emerged, and the total transformation over time of many of the core Indic teachings and beliefs can be disconcerting to those raised in monotheistic cultures, as we are used to each faith bringing with it a defined set of beliefs that — with the exception of some denominational rifts over the centuries — stay pretty much consistent over time. However, the key point of differentiation between

Hinduism and these other faiths is not polytheism vs. monotheism. The key differentiation is that “Hinduism” is Open Source and most other faiths are Closed Source. “Open source is an approach to the design, development, and distribution of software, offering practical accessibility to software source code.”

As the Gods change and the evolution of Indic thought leads us to increasingly modern and post-modern views of the nature of reality, the old Vedic codes still remain front and center. One of Hinduism’s defining factors is that the historic view of god, the nature worship and shamanism, never went away, so that god as currently worshiped exists simultaneously as symbol and archetype as well as literal embodiment.

That Shiva, for instance, could simultaneously be the light of ultimate consciousness and an ash-smeared apparent madman who frequents cremation grounds is a delight to us spiritual anarchists, while mind numbing to most western Theologists. Western and Middle Eastern monotheistic faiths have simply not allowed such liberal interpretation of their God. They continue to exist as closed source systems.

“Generally, closed source means only the binaries of a computer program are distributed and the license provides no access to the program’s source code. The source code of such programs might be regarded as a trade secret of the company.” One of the defining facts of Christian history is that access to God has been viewed — as in most closed source systems — as a trade secret.

The ability to reinterpret the bible, or the teachings of Christ, or the Old Testament or to challenge the basic fundamental authority of the church has been nonexistent for most of the church’s history. Those who dared to do so were quite often killed.

In Indic thought, there is no trade secret. The foundation of yoga is that the key to god, or the macrocosm, or the absolute … lies within the individual and can be accessed through a certain set of practices. It’s a beautifully simple but ultimately profound concept that has been allowed to flourish unchecked for millennia. The process of discovering and re-imagining the divine is in your hands. The God Project.

The Vishnu Smriti and Manu Smriti consider the Acharya along with the Mother and Father as the most venerable gurus of an individual. According to Deval Smriti there can be eleven kinds of gurus and according to Nama Chintamani ten.

From generation to generation the institution of the guru has evolved various basic tenets of Indian culture and transmitted spiritual and fundamental knowledge. Gurus formed the axis of ancient educational system and ancient society, and enriched various fields of learning and culture by their creative thinking. Herein lies the lasting significance of gurus and their contribution to the upliftment of mankind.

Bhagwan BABA in BOSNIA

Thought of the day !

On-Line Resources a copy and paste

Remember The WAR in Bosnia

Sai Prema in Action-- when the world is overwhelmed with the proceedings of anarchy GOD never FAILS you !

Baba states “SEVA is the best method of God Realization. When man goes out to serve he develops selflessness and becomes egoless.”

In the year of 1996-97, Bosnia was undergoing an ethic crisis with heavy bloodletting and loss of life as well as property. People were literally on streets and were living on the materials supplied by the relief agencies of the U.N. and other agencies all over the world. SRI SATYA SAI SEVA ORGANISATION was one of those organisations involved in these humanitarian efforts.

The Russian and Ukrainian branches of Sri Satya Sai Seva Organisation had gone into these regions to contribute their mite in order to ameliorate the conditions of people living there. They were distributing food packets and medicines to the people and helping in building of tents and make-shift arrangements there. They continued doing this till the time the conditions of the people had reached manageable proportions. Later they along with the U.N. task force took complete responsibility for permanent rehabilitation of those being served.

Before leaving after completing the work there, the Ukrainian branch wanted to distribute photographs of Baba. As they proceeded doing so, they got curious inquiries from people there as to who this man was. When told that He is Satya Sai Baba, the recalled in unison ---

“This man came here. He talked to us for a long time, gave us hope that better days will come and distributed relief material among us just like you did.”

A surprised Ukrainian group informed the Russian group also of the strange revelation.
The Russians too came to that spot and asked --
“When did Sai Baba come here? Do you have any idea?”

The Bosnians replied ---

“(We) don’t remember clearly. But we do know that He kept coming regularly for a long time until organised help in form of the UN task force arrived. He never told us who He was but when asked said “You needed me. So I came. Don’t worry. I’ll take care.” After the U.N. force came, He said, “I need not come now. My work will now be done by them (pointing to the U.N. team)”. He lifted His hand, said “My blessings” and disappeared”

After they returned back from their SEVA, they reported to Baba all that they heard from their site of work. Later when this issue was raised in the interview room, Baba replied

“I do so many things at different times. Does it mean I should keep publicizing everything never tell what I give everyone? It is between me and the receiver.” Later when the interview concluded, Baba started slowly walking back into His chamber, He suddenly turned, looked piercingly at everyone assembled and said ---

“Talk less
Work more
Duty is God.
Work is Worship.”

Santhananda SWAMIGAL

Thought of the day !

This article courtesy of my colleagues from Salem - South India.

Sri Sri Swami Santhananda Swamigal attained Maha Samadhi on 27th May 2002 .
This site is a homage to him and all that he stood for.
Darshan of the Great Sage from the Avduta tradition.

In this world of hunger, misery and strife, H.H.Santhananda Swamigal has been a beacon of hope and solace to humanity. He achieved enlightenment by arduous Tapas and service to mankind. He is a great Siddhapurusha who is the Living Embodiment of MAA BHUVANESWARI.
H.H.Santhananda Swamigal belongs to the Avadhoota order and traces his lineage to Lord Dattatreya and to H.H.Sadasiva Bhremendra Saraswathi {Judge Swamigal} of Pudukkottai and H.H.Sri Swayamprakasha Bhremendra Saraswathi of Chenthamangalam, Tamil Nadu.

H.H.Santhananda Swamigal installed MAA BHUVANESWARI at Judge Swamigal's Adishtanam at Pudukkottai. In 1967 by Divine Revelation, Swamigal was impelled to found the Om Sri Skandhashramam at Udayapatti, Salem with MAA ASHTADASABHUJA MAHAALAKSHMI DURGA and SKANDA GURU NATHAN as presiding Deities.

The very embodiment of Prema, Sri Sri Swami Santhananda has been the fountainhead of Hindu Dharma and Vedic principles. In his lifetime he has conducted several Yagnas as elucidated in the Sasthras and challenged orthodoxy by bringing to light, guarded Moola Mantras that ensure common good, wealth and peace.

Sri Sri Swami Santhananda is the only sage in living memory to have conducted the DASA MAHA VIDYA YAGNA.

Swamiji was born in a small village near Madurai. His parents were orthodox Brahmins who were great worshippers of Madurai Meenakshi. They had nine children. Mayandi yogi a famous ascetic of that time visited them one day. He predicted that they would have one more child their tenth.

He said

“A son would be born. He would be a votary of the Vedas, a supporter of Yagnas, a repository of knowledge, an ideal disciple, a man of action for the welfare of the world and a devotee of Goddess Bhuvaneshwari. Call him Subrahmanyam. He will be yours only during his formative years. Then the world gets the monopoly over him.

Like Adi Sankara who left his house and village when he was barely eight, your would be son also would leave you behind. As you would be instrumental in causing his birth, you would get salvation automatically. Therefore from now onward you should cultivate detachment towards your would be son so that you would not obstruct him when the tome came for him to renounce worldly life.”

The Ascetic's prophecy was fulfilled and a son was born in 1920 to the pious couple. They called him Subrahmanyam. At the appropriate time the boy was admitted in a school. He had phenomenal memory. Whatever he learnt in school he was able to retain it. Whenever he had leisure he spent his time at the Meenakshi temple.

Mayandi Yogi made another visit to the boy's house. He was thrilled to see the boy. He suggested that the boy be admitted in a Sanskrit school to learn the Vedas and be sent to him after his studies were over. Accordingly the boy was admitted in the Naganathapuram Veda Patasala. In course of time Subrahmanyam became well versed in the Vedas.

On the Girnar Hill, Gujarat, there is a holy place known as Sri Datta Paduka Peetham. It is a favourite haunt of ascetics. Tradition is that only after initiation, Avadhutas used to visit there. Subrahmanyam reached there even before his initiation. It is an arduous task to climb the hill and reach its top. The place was surrounded by dense forests and was the habitat of wild animals. One had to climb hundreds of steps to reach the top. Subrahmanyam was indisposed and weak.

An unknown Sadhu appeared and said. " Why do you hesitate? Datta Guru is always with you. You swallow this pill and ascend the hill". He vanished. Who was he, whence he came, and why? Nobody knew. Subrahmanyam swallowed the pill. He felt rejuvenated and light. His mind became alert and his body strong. He climbed the hill and had the Darshan of Datta Paduka. He heard a voice commanding him to go to Chendhamangalam (Salem district) where a Guru was waiting.

One day he reached Chendhamangalam and had the Darshan of Swami Swayamprakasaji. At once he realized that the Avadhuta he saw in a vision at Tirunelveli was none other than Swamiji and requested that he be accepted as a disciple.

Tirupati BALAJI

Thought of the day !

A Copy and Paste Presentation - Debut of BALAJI on my blog !

SAI makes a Stand-In for Balaji !

The Archakas of Tirupati have the habit of looking at the feet of Balaji Bhagwan and taking Padanamaskar before Suprabhatam (where God is woken up). They open their eyes only after this procedure.

One of the senior most archakas suddenly had a feeling one-day that even after having served the Lord for 40 years, he was not fortunate enough to have his darshan. He prayed emotionally that if he had been sincere in his duty towards the lord, then the Lord must some day grant him his physical darshan.

The next day, as usual when the archakas went into the sanctum sanctorum for padanamaskar, the senior most archaka went in first. As he reached for the feet of the idol, his hands could feel the moist feet of a human body. Totally surprised, the archaka removed his hand and wanted to remove the covering around his eyes. But the fear of breaking the age-old tradition combined with his 40-year-old practice, he refrained from doing so.

As he reached for the feet again and again, the same thing happened. He called out to the other Archakas and told them his experience. The other archakas too experienced the same warmth. For a moment the archakas got agitated and felt that some miscreant would be standing there but who could be so insolent to stand on the lord’s idol and that too when the sanctorum was thoroughly checked before being locked. Who could it be? Was it an illusion? Just that moment the archaka remembered the prayer that came out of him the day before. A thought flashed through his mind...Was it the Lord himself?

He hurriedly removed the covering and opened his eyes. What he saw shoked him. He gave out a shriek, hearing which the other archakas also removed their coverings and opened their eyes. A sense of disbelief went through them on what they saw.

The idol was gone and Sri Satya Sai Baba was standing in its place.
Baba was standing in Chatur Bhuja form (with four arms). Baba was smiling. He looked at the senior most archaka and said—
“You wanted to see me. I am here. What do you want?”
The archaka was stunned and asked –
“When did I ask to see you? In fact, I asked for darshan of my Lord Sri Balaji.”
Baba replied –
“I am your Lord Sri Balaji.”
Taken aback by this reply the archakas asked again--
“How can you be Lord Balaji? You have always said You are Shiva-Shakti Swarupa. How then can you say you are Vaikunthathi-pathi Balaji?”

Baba softly replied--
“All are one, my dear children. God is one. He manifests in different forms and man worships the form to which he is most attached. All faiths are paths leading to the same goal. Why then do you see the difference?”

After a moments silence, Baba spoke again—

“I have come not to disturb any faith but to confirm everyone in his own faith. I respond to everyone with whatever name you call me. You wanted to see the Lord in form of Balaji and so here I am to fulfill your wish.”

So saying Bhagwan Sri Satya Sai Baba disappeared and the idol of Bhagwan Balaji was back in its place. Silence prevailed for some time. Later the archakas handed over the administration of the temple temporarily to their juniors and rushed to Puttaparthy.

The next day the Archakas of Tirupati were made to sit in front and as Bhagwan Baba came out for darshan, they sat with eyes glued at Him. As Baba came nearer, their hearts leapt in excitement. Baba maintained a little distance from them, looked sharply in their eyes, and asked –

“Today how have you broken the tradition of yester years? Every day morning, you look first at my feet and then at my physical frame. Today you are looking at my face first without even taking padnamaskar.”

As the archakas heard this, they fell at Baba’s feet. Baba took them into the interview room and spoke to them for a long time. Before leaving for Tirupati, they disclosed everything to our professors, who in turn told this to the students. Bhagia sir later personally asked Baba about this who confirmed that he had gone physically to Trupathi and given darshan of Balaji.

We call God by different names:
Krishna ------ by the Hindus
Jesus ------ by the Christians
Waheguru ------ by the Sikhs
Allah ------ by the Moslems
Jhulelal ------ by the Sindhis
and many other names in different religions.

We, students of Baba, believe that Baba is that cosmic Divinity, which is responsible of the creation, organisation and finally the dissolution of the entire Universe.
For us, students of Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Baba is all the above forms.

In fact He is that Primordial source from which all these forms have emerged. We place ourselves, heart and soul at His feet. We love you, Baba and pray that whatever happens in our lives, You should always remain the center of our lives.

Sai-HARMONY

Thought of the day !

Harmony and the SAI Organisation what does it mean?

Harmony arises when kindred souls blossom together like flowers blossoming in the garden.
They are sense of unity as they all grow together.

What is the SAI Organisation?
It is a simple gathering of souls who has started to become awakened to Truth.

The Sai Organisation should be motivated by Love.

People should join the Organisation to give, to receive, to progress, to learn, to become inspired and serve others.

The Organisation is not important -- It exists only for what it gives and opportunity for searching souls, together and find their way to progress doing Sadhna

To help other on the journey what more do we desire.

Sathya SAI is omnipresent !

Jai SAI Ram
